Terms of Service

The agreement between you (or your school) and the operator for using DeepVect AI.

1. Parties and scope

These Terms govern the use of DeepVect AI (the "Service") provided by DeepVect AI Technologies Kong (the "Operator", "we"). Schools and other institutions ("Institutions") that subscribe for their staff and students agree to these Terms on behalf of their users; a separate data-processing agreement applies to student data. Parents or guardians who purchase Student Premium agree to these Terms and the Subscription Terms for that purchase.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account yourself. Younger students only use accounts created or authorised by their school.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our breach of security.
  • Institutions appoint owners and teachers who control model access, schedules, filters and monitoring for their students and are responsible for how they configure the Service.

3. Acceptable use

The Service is a learning tool. You must not use it to:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or harass, bully or endanger anyone;
  • generate or share sexual content involving minors, hateful content, or instructions for weapons or self-harm;
  • attempt to bypass teacher controls, word filters, moderation or fair-use limits, or to access other schools' data;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or resell the Service, or use outputs to build a competing model service.

4. AI output

Answers are generated by third-party AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or biased. They are not professional (medical, legal, financial) advice. Check important facts and follow your teacher's guidance on how AI may be used for schoolwork. Model availability can change at any time; older models may be retired while existing conversations remain readable.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload and create. You grant us a licence to host, process and transmit it only as needed to run the Service (including sending it to the selected AI provider). Institutions may review their students' content where the law and school policy allow. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

6. Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid school plans and Student Premium are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Full details – prices, trials, renewal, cancellation and refunds – are set out in the Subscription, Payment & Cancellation Terms and the Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

7. Our intellectual property and feedback

The Service, its software, design and trademarks belong to the Operator or its licensors. Feedback you give may be used without obligation.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, endanger others or remain unpaid, after notice where reasonable. Institutions may deactivate their users at any time. You may close your account at any time; data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI output is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims in a year is limited to the fees you (or your Institution) paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of establishment (see Legal Notice). Consumers also keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence and may use the EU online dispute-resolution platform where applicable. We are not obliged to take part in alternative dispute-resolution procedures unless stated in the Legal Notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes are announced in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that date means acceptance. Last updated: 2026-10-14.
